Established in 1970, our services included provision of consulting and planning assistance to other nonprofit sponsors and property developers. We provided land banking and seed-money loans for a number of ventures.
In 1981, to successfully keep up with funding changes, AHM began to offer property management services and to develop and sponsor housing on our own behalf. Our development and management experience includes properties financed through various HUD programs, federal and state housing tax credits, federal HOME program funds, city housing partnership funds, city bond funds, state trust funds, state rental production program, public housing funds and conventional loans. AHM's development and management experience includes purchase and major rehabilitation, new construction, fee management and properties acquired through donation. We have managed and/or acquired properties that were distressed, with varied and numerous problems, and have successfully turned them around.
Over the years, due to changes in the way multifamily housing has been funded, AHM's programs have been modified to meet new requirements. We have been successful in our endeavors, keeping up with the changes while still managing to accomplish our mission... to provide quality affordable housing for those who come to us seeking a better standard of living.
Based on our strength and capabilities AHM is seeking new development and management opportunities.
