Operations Manager (Position Open)
Affordable Housing Management (AHM), a forty-nine-year-old Greensboro, NC based nonprofit multifamily developer/owner/manager is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (OM) to oversee a portfolio of affordable (LIHTC, HOME, HUD, etc.) communities. The position will be based in Greensboro with all current properties located in Greensboro.

The OM will be experienced with oversight of compliance-heavy affordable properties, professional, highly organized, ability to prioritize/manage multiple projects and deadlines. Responsibilities includes site visits to monitor property condition, compliance, and day-to-day operations; staff oversight, including hiring, training, and conducting evaluations; budget and financial review; and various other property-oriented tasks. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with on-site employees, residents, vendors, regulatory agencies, owners, and corporate staff. Must be willing/able to work extended hours when needed.

Previous experience of a minimum three to five years managing an affordable property(s) with various/multiple subsidy layers is required plus a minimum two years' experience in a regional/area/district management role. Industry credentials (CPO, SHCM, TCS, HCCP, or similar) preferred, along with proficiency with Classic/Yardi or similar property management software. A NC Real Estate Broker’s License, or ability/willingness to obtain one, is desirable. Must have or will obtain a NC driver’s license and a dependable vehicle. Must reside in the Greensboro area or be willing to relocate at your own expense.
